Josh and Heidi personally are great people and are extremely Flexible and work really well with getting insurance and permits approved. I had my house completely wrecked by two trees falling on both ends of my home from hurricane Helene and had the worst luck finding someone to help me. I was worried due to the fact that a lot of people at this time were trying to take advantage of the situation but Josh and Heidi were legitimate and professional. They were available; knowledgeable and ready to get to started on repairs and answered all my questions. They made this traumatizing experience for me very stress free and hopeful within the time frame of 3 months! They also listened to my concerned and replaced and looked at details that I felt needed more TLC and Josh did just that! Sparks Construction built our house in 2021-2022 and the construction experience, from designing the home, construction, and communication was about as stress-free as it could be. We chose Sparks because we wanted a local custom home builder that would help us with the project and who had a good track record for quality. Josh Sparks was with us and for us from the onset. He ensured that what we wanted was "what we wanted" to avoid changes down the road. He reviewed the final architect drawings with us, costs (during Covid, costs were changing almost weekly) etc. as well as what the process would look like. Josh works quickly! There was very little downtime, except when needed, such as the concrete foundation needing time to cure, etc. There was progress each week and the work was done correctly. (in building a house, there will always be minor things, and when addressed with Josh, they were always taken care of). Admirably, there were times we needed to contact Josh at odd hours or on weekends and he always responded. We were never left in the dark or wondering what was going on. His web-based project manager worked well as did emails, texts and phone calls. Our house came together very well, even during the hectic days of the pandemic where supplies and components were often difficult to procure. We had some minor items to take care of the final punch list, but that is always to be expected.
